They will also need to increase their aptitude in cross-industry collaboration and global astuteness.
The research shows that the top ranked 10% of talent in organizations drives 80% of innovation & results. Companies who have supplemented their high potentials' development with one or more of the Leadership Execution Accelerator customized experiences have reported astonishing results:
600% increase in overall business impact 480% improvement in leader engagement and retention
640% improvement in leadership bench strength 570% improvement in overall employee retention
The Leadership Execution Accelerator (LEA) is a powerful leadership development and problem solving experience, especially designed for high potential talent, that has the amazing capacity to simultaneously build successful leaders, teams and organizations by developing the competency of “Leading Beyond the Walls of the Organization”.
The 3 month experience brings together a select cross-industry, cross-functional group of high potential talent from multiple organizations to deeply analyze actual work problems in their respective businesses with colleagues who have different perspectives than their own, flush out the true “problems behind the problem”, and develop an action plan for immediate next steps. In addition, targeted skill building occurs on a featured leadership learning theme.
LEA is extremely popular because its simple rules force participants to think critically, work collaboratively, and “learn by doing.” Each workgroup is assigned a SWAT (strategic working action team) coach who drives them to reflect not only on their problem solving, but also on the quality of their group dynamics and on examples of their demonstrated leadership skills.
